In the mean time

As evidenced by my lack of posts, writing a blog is not currently a priority for me. Until I a) redesign or b) get inspired, please find me at one of these places:

John Mayer said it

I stumbled across John Mayer’s blog last year some time, I don’t remember how. It’s weird because I’m not a fan of his music, not that I dislike it, I just don’t listen to it. Aside from being pretty funny, on more than one occasion I’ve read something he wrote and felt really connected to it. Here’s a snippet from a post entitled “From the Heart(more…)

What kinda music do I listen to?

I remember the days of late middle school when there was an unwritten rule that if you wore a band t-shirt you had to at least be able to list off an album or two and probably throw out a few song names. PleaseNoPleats.com

I’m by no means a fashion expert, but I do know that pleated pants pretty much suck. It wasn’t all that long ago that several pairs of my dress pants were pleated, so I don’t want to sound like a snob here. And really I don’t judge anyone for wearing pleated pants (well maybe just a little) especially considering the fact that they’re sold all over the place. (more…)

Options for Thanksgiving Travel

Rebekah and I spent about an hour last night looking for flights out to Connecticut to visit my parents for Thanksgiving. Last year I think we paid around $330 per ticket which seemed expensive. Last night we were getting excited any time we saw a flight for less than $500. Here is the list that we compiled to examine our options in order from most expensive/most convenient to least expensive/least convenient: (more…)

Marcy Holmes Brew

Mr. Lallensack is in town this weekend despite the fact that he missed the registration for the half triathlon he was planning on participating in. So what do two old college buddies do on a rainy day? Why brew beer of course. (more…)
